transness is a gift. i need every trans woman to understand that by nature of their existence they have been blessed with the ability to pluck the strands of fate with their hands if they choose to. it is not always easy and it is not without hardship but every trans woman is capable of greatness.

I used a tiny amount, again because the yeast prefers it, but also I might add a bit more of the flakes occasionally since the yeast in the starter will genetically drift over time. Though i also remembered one of my coworkers brews too, I should ask if she’d like to try it…

Actually if i remember correctly, the original farmhouse strain of Espe does contain a bit of lactobacillus, so it might work right away, but it’ll get sour no matter what

The sour aspect will come in time, the flour will contribute it. Though, I could also probably use the dregs of a kriek beer…

For those confused, this is a Norwegian brewing yeast that is almost miraculous, and this specific strain was my very favorite one to use. I no longer plan to brew, but i want to go back to sourdough baking, so i thought I’d make a special starter with this yeast
