To me it also looks like, based on how you drew this one thin, he’s more reactive in general and he’s activating in the face of something personally distressing.

If he’s not a timid or self doubting character that’s getting mentored by an older/more confident person he’s probably been trauma’d-

Or if it’s not now there’s going to be a moment where he may lose control.

The black and whiteish blue lightning tendrils contrasting also probably foreshadows there’s probably an internal struggle that defines him, to me.

I thought his right eye had a tear streak but it might be lighting-

Or he’s afraid of what he can do.

His hair and fit give me this inclination that he’s a character that thinks or maybe worries a lot. (The blue teal is kinda like Eiji so maybe I’m projecting a bit lol)
