Hard to really grasp how much I grew up with his movies. I was the age of the kids in Stand By Me, in my twenties saw When Harry Met Sally with my best friend (a guy) and we both loved it. Spinal Tap was about all the dumb bombastic rock I listened to on top 40 radio.
Gah.

I have a terrible sense of direction. Had to fly to Toledo, OH for a wedding. Had a paper map and compass in my rental car. Did great! (Also it’s a small city with some neat stuff, turns out) I still ❤️ a good map.

Got one at Trader Joe’s and it’s been in full bloom for like 3.5 months. Crazy.

How about bullet points on why 2 out of 3 (or whatever it is these days) IT implementations fail (aka why SAP makes people cry). Then underlings can just point to the appropriate one when something’s going off the rails.

Yeah. Look, lots of people with disordered thinking go to DC, and head to the WH for odd/disturbed reasons. It’s a bad idea to have uniformed, but not trained in law enforcement, folk right there to be targets of that.

We’ve got the antenna and as a bonus taped an old wire hanger to it. Works great on days with no wind!

This is incredible. Thank you for sharing your efforts! The lavender would like mainly full sun and fast-draining (not clay) soil, and to live in a spot with good air movement if humid.

My uncle, a WWII glider pilot, crash landed behind enemy lines in Vichy France, was hidden by the resistance until the SS broke down the door. Spent the rest of the war playing chess as a POW. What a fellow!
