It's golden hour in the Greater Seattle area. Looking over the marina out towards Vashon Island, the sunsets gold, orange, and red with reflections of all the colors in the gray puffy clouds above. The water shimmers in the dusk light as seabirds float off in the distance.

A moody sunset off the coast of Monterey, California. There are birds on the beach, and many more on the rocks in the ocean. I like to get to know a place when I travel, not just take photos. Can’t wait to get back here to immerse myself in nature, shop and visit art galleries in Carmel, and eat! The food here is amazing and so fresh! A visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium is also a must do activity.
