Hey, lady, I’m sorry it took this for you to feel this way. He was always going to betray you and I’m sorry you didn’t understand that. So now that you see it, how about taking some actions to help more people see it and speaking to your local representatives and nationals ones too.

Sarcastically: I’ve never seen men so desire to care about women’s sports before. Wow. 😆

I’m not sure that’s Republicans turning on Trump.

Nah, how you said it was direct and excellent. I only desire to further back you up. You were precise.

Exactly. They are very caught up in that and keeping appearances. There’s also a lot of inheritance issues to think about as well with men. If their parents are not happy with them, many men fear losing the inheritance. I have not encountered this problem with women in the same way.

For sure. Yet I think that it’s important to think about what the benefit to them is. I think that less men may change because change for men is more difficult than change for women since men have more to gain from maintaining power. Women have more to gain from changing—more freedom and autonomy.

My story is my own. Research and data doesn’t define my journey out of the cult of Christian Nationalism and extremism in our nation. It’s not because I’m a woman either (didn’t feel like a female growing up either), although being required to listen to others may have something to do with it.

I may have been raised as a girl, but if gendered raising has something to do with it, then it’s exhaustion from all the stereotypes, pressure, and normalized oppression of being a “woman”. And if your comment is true, then explain why all of the “women” I knew with that upbringing are still in it?
