It feels like you have to wander through the woods and like guess your way through. There isn't a clear path or trail to like follow. I appreciate the advice, and I'll try to implement it into my daily adventures into programming.

Imagine not engaging with the content of a post to quote, post me, and dodge the point entirely. Someone is just farming views and likes and doesn't actually care about the future of the USA or at least making sure your points are sound and/or logical. 😒 disappointing, honestly.

Honestly, it's been around well before the Nazi's. The Nazi's co-opted a ton of different symbols. So it's a plausible story, I'd shrug it off too if I didn't know. Seems like we're purity testing again. Let's not crucify our own when we have actually unarguable Authoritarians taking over.

You know, when dealing with a problem, I always find myself thinking, "You know what I could use less of right now, information."

I don't say any of this with glee or any semblance of data. I just talk with thousands (<2k a year) about political topics and I'd say a clear majority of those talks end up surface level conversations about definitions in which the other person in the conversation can't or won't understand labels.

I think people who aren't engaged in a political environment, 99%, aren't familiar with any of these terms to be able to give a coherent definition of beliefs in a general manner. Of those who are actively engaged with the political environment, it's probably still 95% that couldn't either.

P.S. they changed the dictionary definitions. JUST Kidding i guess I'm just a dumbfuck now! 🙃

Honestly, most people don't understand what any political labels mean. We're the minority now. It's mainly tribal identities. I think a good example of this is people who use the words "actually" and "literally" by how they were defined and how the rest of society uses them. 🤔 .
