Also I can speak from experience that if you obsess over your codebase looking nice you spend way too much time not actually making anything. lol. I accept my fate at least

Your main goal as a game dev is to ensure the player is having fun (or whatever you want), so as long as whatever this switch monster is, is completely isomorphic to theoretical clean code, you still did your job
