Supposedly, Hyeju, Yeojin, and Gowon have all said that they aren't done and we should see them soon. Vivi is also still in Korea apparently so that leads people to think her work visa got transferred to another company already.

That's what the leading theory is. Some people said if they all joined Modhaus BBC could have had an opportunity to delay them dropping music via a lawsuit. Some them fully splitting up and creating subgroups helped circumvent that law suit angle.

Fromis and Loosemble announcements never mentioned the word disbandment, so it def seems like they are trying to find a new company or already have one lined up.
