morella follows a bad ass woman seemingly haunting her husband after her untimely death! a perfect autumn/spooky read! beautiful imagery and discussions of philosophy and identity after death. what does it mean to have a personal identity?

a chillingly spooky tale! poe talks on themes of death, mental illness, and premature burials, all in line of poe’s other works! i enjoyed the symbolism of both the library and the teeth, a literary masterpiece that is severely underrated!

i have such a new love for woolf after this read. the way she articulates her thoughts is so empowering! i read so many amazing essays about women i would have never learned about without this book, and for that i’m extremely grateful!
