Unaffiliated is the way to go honestly. It’s going to be a long time before I trust any political party. The democrats are spineless and the republicans are vile. We don’t need a party system anymore. We need people who have integrity and common decency. The US used to be a place to be proud of.

It’s what MAGA wants, to scare people away from voting/from running for office. It’s unfortunate, but it’s working.

Supposed to have the collective “our” best interest at heart. What happened to safe schools, healthy children, healthy seniors, etc… when did it become acceptable to single out people who are already struggling/disadvantaged/the minority? Add up the minorities, they are the majority.

But don’t run on values you, yourself don’t uphold. Don’t tell others how to live when you obviously don’t hold those values yourself and for goodness sakes, don’t point a finger unless you can confidently say there won’t be a dozen pointing right back. The ONLY time certain extra curricular activities should be commented on during an election is when a candidate is “preaching” about family values or pushing a pro-family agenda. When they’ve cheated/divorced/side piece, etc… aside from that? It’s not fodder for an election. People aren’t perfect 🧵

They would have too much ammunition against me. Roller derby, nude model at Munson, child-free by choice, pro-LGBTQ, pro-choice, tattoos, piercings, I’ve been with men other than my husband before we were together (the horror). They’d make life miserable for Joe. They can’t run a clean campaign.

Derby is for everyone, the good the bad, the mediocre 🤣. No matter what. 🥰 Don’t let terfs (my autocorrect wanted to type teefs instead) dull your skate sparkle. I skated for 10 years, I was all skate levels and levels of seriousness. Got my ass handed to my by all genders and was ok with it.

If it was magical, then some of us older broads could get a little extra from our gynos when we hit perimenopause, then we’d be amazing at sports. 🙄 my trans male friends should be dominating pickleball then. It takes so many factors to excel at sports, especially derby!

Can’t convince these people. It’s like talking to a tree, except the tree won’t assault you when it gets frustrated, except the tree creates oxygen (never mind, 🤣) I’ll keep wasting my breathe because you and others are worth it. These bans/restrictions/laws are unconstitutional and unjust. 🏳️‍⚧️
