This is actually a really dire sign. My cousin serves in the Armenian Navy and told me that they're all being hush-hush right now but something about gearing up for an amphibious landing on Seychelles. Watch this space.

Yeah we are all “living above our means” but of course conservatives never ever mean themselves with it, the only goal is to keep their own lifestyle while the poorest in society get even poorer. THEY live above OUR means.

Yeah we are all “living above our means” but of course conservatives never ever mean themselves with it, the only goal is to keep their own lifestyle while the poorest in society get even poorer. THEY live above OUR means.

It isn't just allowing Israel to participate. It's the continuing streak of breaking any values you ever claimed to stand for, betraying the very origins of Eurovision as a symbol of peace, and not just letting them participate, but going out of your way to shield meanwhile harming other contestants
Gonna be honest too I just don't get any real enjoyment out of Eurovision anymore. Borderline ruined.

I think every tourist should know some basics to make their tourism more sustainable. Choose hotels (but no resort hotels!) or hostels over Airbnbs, stick to one place at a time and explore instead of collecting countries like postcards, respect local issues and customs. It shouldn’t be that hard.

The amount of anti-semitism that has started to circulate on Twitter ist now getting to extremely worrying levels, especially with people who should know better, yet have also started to repost/retweet this garbage.

In other news, I have an off day today, so my supervisor tags me in a work group chat asking me why I didn't do a task I wasn't told/ assigned to do. I explain that. The manager demands I apologise in all caps, and says that my behaviour makes it hard for her to keep calm.

Only a city like Berlin would have its public transport system come to a halt because of snow, something that obviously never happens often enough this far up north that the ÖPNV would be prepared for it.
