This morning's harvest!! This year was a bust for summer squash, beets, and broccoli, and I've only had a few slicer tomatoes so far and even less peppers. But, dang, I have SO MANY cucumbers and green beans!!! LOL
I have a lot of kale that I need to harvest still. Time for fall planting

I'm going to be taking a social media break. The energy of complete chaos and utter hatred in this country is staggering and is taking a toll. I've got some spiritual and grounding work to do.

We are starting to develop callouses just so we can survive. Our minds are numbing to protect us. Make no mistake, we are suffering PTSD.
I post A LOT about politics and 99% of the time I feel I'm screaming into the wind. I dont know how much of what I post is even being shown.

And now for the past 6 months it's been one outrageous or horrific thing after another. Non-stop, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our mental and physical health has plummeted.

Thank the goddess the deer didn't find my leafy greens. Here's a giant pile of Romain lettuce and Chijimisai (Chinese kale) that I harvested this morning. We'll be eating ALOT of leafy greens all summer. I still have a ton out there and a bunch of curly leaf kale as well.

I have been so discouraged about my garden. I got a late start on my seedlings this year, spring was super cold at night until just a few weeks ago, and I've been having health issues preventing me from working as much as I want in the garden.
