The tree featured on the front cover is known locally as the “Raddon Tree, “Parrot Tree” or the “Dinosaur Tree”. It won the Devon’s Favourite Tree contest in 2019, and the image on the front cover of this book was the photo submitted for the competition. It was taken by Heather Sheppard.
