I am really grateful to Jane Hammons and the The Ohio State University Libraries for continuing such a stellar series on information literacy in higher education- each session evokes such thoughtful and interesting conversations with colleagues.

What an absolute treat to get to present with my best friend (who also just happens to be my twin sis) about a topic near and dear to our hearts - helping students approach the world around them through open, authentic communication and critical awareness. #NAMLE2025

I’m leaving the #ACRL2025 tired but grateful for the longtime friends I got to hug, the new friends I made (and tbh, also hugged!), and the powerful professionals I truly believe will help us get through whatever-the-heck timeline we’re dealing with right now.

After an *ugh* week, it was so fun to get into crafty mode with colleagues and students to prep our campus-wide Dare to Read Collectives’s “Blind Date with a Banned Book” initiative happening next week. anchorlink.vanderbilt.edu/event/10963212

I love my team so much!! The Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries Teaching & Learning team and division heads celebrated the end of the semester with Thai food and they indulged me with this very Nashville-esque selfie.

It was a supreme pleasure to host award-wining and phenomenally inspiring Alice Randall at the Libraries last night. She was a gracious guest and I learned so much about Nashville’s rarely-talked-about black country music history.
