Never heard that name for it as an American! I kinda like it but I'm not sure if it rolls off the tongue as easily as Genesis does. On the other hand, SEGA and mega rhyme. There's pros and cons.

I'm already getting more engagement on my regular posts than typically I did on twitter - and without getting into some sort of argument with a misogynist or transphobe. It may not be a lot but it means more on here. Real people, no weird bots or racists screaming at you in your dms.

They have to be very close to going bad for me. Like, you could make banana bread with them tomorrow levels of ripeness

1. Couldn't stand Musk's influence, and how bad faith arguments were incentivized by blue check money
2. Much more peaceful, some better features and a sense that people are posting what they mean and not just trying to grift (or bots)
3. I hope a lot of the gaming content creators come over!

That makes no sense and seems to defeat the purpose of tagging, but it's not very surprising considering all the bad decisions that have been made on that app since That Guy took over

I was way more active on tumblr than twitter, so I didn't know - did tagging actually have negative effects on twitter? I did notice that basically nobody tags stuff on there compared to the early days of twitter
