The @bindinghook.bsky.social Live agenda is out! I’m honored to join a truly impressive group of people “where digital tech and global affairs meet” later this month in London. I’ll be presenting my research on AI compute, and why chips aren’t enough. See you there! bindinghooklive.com/agenda/

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of presenting my research on critical technologies and technology policy - from AI to semiconductors - at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's Center for Global Security Research.
A special thanks to Mike Albertson and Katie Thomas for inviting me. 1/3

Stopping to take in the local scenery with @ridt.bsky.social and @machinavelli.com on our way to LABScon yesterday. It was lovely catching up with everyone last night over dinner and drinks here in Arizona. Looking forward to today’s talks and sidebars.

Taking a moment to pause and enjoy the view amidst a day of semiconductor and cybersecurity course prep and research. It feels good to be back in the neighborhood and I very much look forward to welcoming SAIS students to our new home next week.

Grading away at the Institute accompanied by some of my favorite opera albums. Teaching at Johns Hopkins SAiS continues to be a wonderful reminder of how many excellent students, from technical and non-technical backgrounds alike, will be entering the cyber work force in years to come.
