Most SNAP users are White. Most low income White people voted 🍄rump. We can conclude from these facts that 🍄rump supporters will be hurt by withholding SNAP. That’s my TED talk.

Based on analyses of the 2024 election, white lower-class voters-typically defined as white adults without a four-year college degree-continued their strong support for Donald Trump and the Republican Party. This group favored Trump over Kamala Harris by a wide margin, driven primarily by cultural and ideological issues rather than economic anxieties.

Socialism is a scare word they have hurled at every advance the people have made in the last 20 years. Socialism is what they called public power. Socialism is what they called social security. Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people. When the Republican candidate inscribes the slogan "Down With Socialism" on the banner of his "great crusade," that is really not what he means at all. What he really means is "Down with Progress--down with Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal," and "down with Harry Truman's fair Deal " That's all he means…..

Suffering through 🍄rump’s second vile reign is particularly enraging because of the hypocrisy. He’s now going after left leaning groups and people via IRS, loudly. I remember this invented scandal where good people lost their jobs because of never ending stream of lies these disgusting people tell.
Now, in the third audit of how the tax-exempt application process went off the rails, the Treasury Department's inspector general overseeing the IRS has found the agency targeted not just conservatives but also scores of groups with words like "progressive" in their names.

I’m old enough to remember the Centennial Olympic Park bombing. It was committed by a right wing terrorist who hated the government, hated abortion and hated gays. One person was killed and 111 injured.
