Inspiration isn't always there, especially for big illustrations. Especially in our current context. It's OK to take the time and not rush what's important to you. For me, It's also about taking care of my artistic practice, and having fun with it. It's precious.

The second illustration was made for the exhibition! I wanted to show a kind of dynamism, the beauty of the infinite possibilities of the body in a way ! It's the first time I've experimented with BLUE. And it was so cool to do!

Hanakiv is a London based Estonian born, composer and musician, she creates meditative piano-based ambient music with elements from classical and electronic music. Nature and busting metropolis are both an inspiration for her. She will be working on the card : A person sitting on the edge of a lake or the sea, with cascading hair.
