Went solo to my neighbourhood bar for the first time in a while - and I got into an argument with a conspiracy theorist. I think I’m going to drink at home for a while.

Update, 22 days later... I have not made any headway yet. The honest truth is that I have a 5 figure number in unpaid invoices, and I am on the verge of having to live on credit.
This is the reality of entrepreneurship! For all of its glamour, these phases happen.

I'm turning the big 4-0 in 5 months, and I've decided to set a HUGE goal of paying off my student loan balance (7642$ !!!) by the big day. I will then be debt-free (aside from Mortgage).
I am in a single income household and earn money as a freelancer. Let's go! ✨

Went to a networking/social event tonight - and the amount of old white men who literally stepped in front of me to speak with the person I was already engaged in a conversation with was absolutely next level.

I didn't know what to watch on tv last night, and decided to start watching Seinfeld. I have seen some episodes here and there, but never watched the whole thing.
I powered through season 1, and, well... I decided that I am okay with Seinfeld lacking in my general culture knowledge.

That said, I've been working hard to be more intentional in my targeting when sending press releases. Most radio stations don't do any journalistic work, I get it.

Today’s project was restoring my Weber kettle.
I bought her used, and it was already well loved (and seasoned lol). I scrubbed and scraped for hours.
New cleaning blades installed - she is good as new!

Canva is a fantastic tool to produce visuals.
Canva is also the gateway to giving everybody the right to call themselves graphic designers.
Kind of like how buying a DSLR camera will enable you to take pictures, but it doesn't make you a professional photographer.

It is a self-employed/freelancing business rule, that as soon as you start stressing about the upcoming months' revenue/contracts... they appear.
