My favorite thing about Lizzy and the Cloud is the first thing Lizzy does is go to the cloud seller and it totally makes sense. I don’t find myself asking what a cloud seller is or how can that be? Often I overthink when I write. I need more cloud seller in my work. #kidlit

The World’s Best Class Plant written by Liz Garton Scanlon and Audrey Vernick, and illustrated by Lynnor Bontigao really makes me want to buy a plant for my classroom. Such a great way to teach kids to work together and care for something.

First book of Fall Break finished! Star Fish by Lisa Fipps should be required reading in middle/intermediate schools. This book will open your eyes to bullying in the way that Wonder by R.J. Palacio did.
