I register my work with the Copyright Office. Until recently, had no problem receiving my certs. Had a request for a script & they needed my copyright. Went to the file. No cert. Fine, I looked it up, but I'd like a copy. Here's the response. This is after Cheeto's firings.

Sometimes when you're writing you have to talk to yourself. I was practicing the evil guy's laugh out loud, trying to figure out how to describe it. Chaos was not amused. #dogs
