Explore smells in art with Keith Harrison's 'Wreath' (2013). The bulbs have been dipped in terracotta slip mixed with incense. When the lights are switched on, the heat produced fires the clay and causes the incense to release its scent.

Yesterday, in partnership with Chippenham Civic Society, we unveiled a blue plaque dedicated to King Alfred the Great, marking his historic victory over the Danes. With re-enactors, a lecture, and BBC Points West coverage, it was a night to remember! 👑

Chippenham’s medieval Grade I listed Yelde Hall has recently been restored by building conservation experts. The work included timber and plaster repairs, limework, and a new pentice board to protect the frontage. We're so pleased that this iconic structure can now be enjoyed in all its glory again!
