Personal news: I’ve kept quiet I was diagnosed w slow onset ALS in my 40s. Last year, my body decided to speed it up. This summer I declined quickly. I chose no medical intervention & started hospice last week.
I’ll continue fighting for our country until my last breath. And laughter is mandatory.

Eric Adams is out of the NYC mayoral race. After posturing from Adams & the remaining candidates, polls still have Mamdani winning with Adams’ candidacy over. “When pollsters asked likely voters for their preferences in a race without Adams, Mamdani still led Cuomo by a double-digit margin.”

It would have probably been more cost effective for companies to pay fair corporate taxes as opposed to the shakedown money from the regime, as well as the losses from public economic boycotts.

Economic boycotts are one of the best tools the people can use to protest the authoritarian regime & companies willing to go along with their unconstitutional behavior. Disney didn’t pay attention to Target’s loss of $12.4 billion due to economic boycotts.
Disney didn’t just incur a $3.8 billion loss overnight. If the boycott continues, it could escalate to over $20 billion. This is how you combat fascism.

We can’t depend on politicians to protect our constitutional rights. I hope more will do the work beyond strongly worded letters & expressing concern. It requires everyone to do what is required to protect our fundamental rights. Grass roots organizing needs to expand bc many are unsure what to do.
