We're both winning!

We did a potluck/book exchange right after Thanksgiving. No snacks, as we met at a local library not the museum. (Rush hour traffic issues!)

Also, we only met every other month. Which made it a lot easier to manage on all sorts of levels.

Started it as education director, but hung on to it as long as I could when I became ED. Small, but loyal group and they were such fun.

That's probably not helping.

We met for over a decade, so the list is long. My rules for picking were: Texas connections, museum connections and/or our time period of 1840-1910. And less than 300 pages!

We read that as part of our museum's #bookclub Great fun! Have you read the Chloe Ellefson series? Extra fun because set in early 1980s.
