If you are married to a US spouse, your temporary visa (usually for 3 months) will lapse before your case is processed. The government allowed you could stay in the US while awaiting case processing. Now the Trump admin is saying that is a visa overstay and arresting the spouses.

Whose administrative state though? If Trump's, I see no skepticism from Congress or SCOTUS about it. Previously, they have only been skeptical in the sense that a Dem president was doing shit they didn't like, starting with Lincoln. (Yes I know but c'mon, it was the abolition that kicked this off).
