My happy story for the day.
A bumblebee rose-bathing. I love having a slow-mo app on my phone to watch them filling their pollen baskets. To the naked eye, they simply appeared to be swimming among the stamens.

The only objective in ending funding is further harassment, intimidation, and ostracism of LGBTQ youth. The Trump administration is attacking the most vulnerable and marginalized Americans … the very people who, incidentally, are least able to push back.
Heartbroken & devastated at Trump administration’s directive to end specialized support for LGBTQ+ youth callers to 988 hotline. This attack will DIRECTLY HARM American children. Youth using hotline are at their lowest point; specialized support is LIFE SAVING.

If the Liberal and NDP respond to the vilification of trans Canadians with silence only, if they fail to stand up for the rights of ALL Canadians under the Charter, how can they claim to be good Canadians themselves?
The first part of this century saw progressive politicians campaign on expanding LGBTQ2S+ rights while their right-wing opponents largely remained silent. But the script has flipped. thewalrus.ca/anti-trans-narra...
