A couple weeks ago (before the election) I was in a conference room with (all female) coworkers and I said "Does anyone else feel like we're in the end times?"

I got more than one yes.

One minute, you think you will die alone, and next thing you know, you have a partner, 2 cars, a house, 5 pets, and a life insurance policy.

Life comes at you fast.

I did a thing today that involved professional make up and hair and so I made my guy take me out.

Every time I see men tell each other "I love you" in movies or TV shows, my heart grows 15x.

Thing I never thought I would say: Today I saw the scars from getting my adenoids taken out when I was six.

TFW you wonder why you feel like crying and then remember your period is 2 days late and you panic for 2.64 seconds before remembering your husband had a vasectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation AND you are 48 years old so you are definitely not pregnant, just perimenopausal and.....late.

I got a massage for the fiest time in something like 4 years today and I had TOTALLY FORGOTTEN how hard it is to get my boobs situated just right in order to be comfortable.

The way I have been leaning on dark humor for the past 12 years though....

Totally worth the 6 hour drive.

I finally went and did a massive 8 hours over 3 sessions ADHD assessment in late April/early May at a school because it was cheap.

I will finally be getting my results in 2 weeks.
