I got my new calendar! A source of brightness in my day. 🤩

Returned child to school today. Sad to see her go, but she is making her way in the world. There was a new sign on her door, welcoming her back.

Trip to Magic Mountain today with CAPED. We got to tour with three of the maintenance guys and learned a lot of great info!

Every single person in my 3pm Dynamics class showed up today, the Friday afternoon of a 3 day weekend. There is still good in the world. 🥰

I also have Dynamics MWF afternoons, which I haven't taught in 7 years, and is also very challenging. I'm spending all my days off prepping for my days on.

My quarter is really tough this winter. I'm teaching Fluids 2, which I haven't taught in 10 years, so it's like writing a whole new course. And I struggle with the material. It's tough.
I have 3 sections of that in the mornings MWF.
(Oh, look. A character limit. Lovely. Why?)

Summer time in NZ! The jet lag is intense, but so glad to be here.

On a plane again. This has been a busy couple weeks. Off to see Epo!
