I used to do comics, but now I ride horses
I am generally in favor of bidets, but I wonder if just lightly spraying with water and no soap, and letting it air dry really is actually better or cleaner. When will we develop the three seashells?

When I heard there was a kerfuffle about putting tits on Isabelle, I thought it would be way hornier. The fact that it’s this tame is somehow more perplexing and probably weirder?

At first I thought it was an Alien reference, like the white “blood” the android melts down in, since they had Nancy doing a very obvious Ripley homage later, but it just kept getting thicker and thicker

Very curious how this ink wash printed at the time. It looks gorgeous here, but you would have lost everything in the newsprint tech American comics were using. Hopefully this ran in a glossy magazine.

I feel like I’ve seen both used in comics? Or at least other media? Maybe Smallville had a plot line about him inheriting Luthorcorp, but he started Lexcorp as his own thing?

I’ve often said I should have been born a wealthy heiress, but my parents don’t seem to agree.

If only I could go back in time and treat my ADHD so that I followed up on any of my ideas, I could have retired by now! (or more likely worked harder in comics and be as well off as I am now).

In eighth grade media class, we had to create our own video project, and my idea was to just follow my cat around for a few days and add a bit of voice-over narration. My teacher okayed the idea, but also said, “I don’t think many people would want to watch that kind of thing.”

In seventh grade media class, we had to record a radio DJ segment, and my idea was for a station that was 100% requests. Most of the adults I talked to about it said “I don’t think that would be very successful in the real world.”

Foil can be exciting to watch when it’s done well, but also difficult to keep up with, since it’s so fast and you can get a touch in a few seconds (and then there’s a long pause to determine if the touch scored or not)

I did foil for a short time in high school, as that was all our local community center had. But I learned enough to realize that saber is much more represented in media since it looks like classic sword-fighting and is much more visually exciting for the non-initiate

Completely the opposite of how they handled it in the show, and one of the leading reasons I stopped watching.

In Storm of Swords, when Jaime and Cersei reunite and have sex on Joffrey’s coffin. She’s on her period and he’s just lost his hand and keeps trying to use it, everything is very awkward and messy, but they’re both really into it at the time, so it’s just really funny to read

I think first you need to change society’s standards about the acceptability of female nudity. Then you’ll need to continue dismantling the patriarchy to the point that a rebellious female figure is not considered provocative. Then it should be fairly easy to convince the mods to remove the label.

I sometimes buy the bulk pack of lunch bag chip packages. You get the benefit of just having a ac few chips at a time while the rest stay fresh, but it is wasteful in the amount of extra packaging used.

Legally, they are not chips since they are made from reconstituted potato flakes and not a whole sliced potato. In the US they are labeled “potato crisps”, but I wonder how that works out in the UK? Maybe they’re chips there since everything else is crisps?
