I'm indifferent. I can choose when I want to engage with it because my experience in whether I'm enjoying a video game or not is not tied to it. In my opinion, that's what it means to have control over your hobby.

Of course. Everything is a choice at the end of the day. I personally don't like having to re-purchase games I've already bought (with the exception of remakes or remasters that I feel are worth it).

People are upset with Square but Nintendo is just as much to blame for basically forcing every developer to have to figure out upgrade paths for their games because Nintendo switched (heh) up their architecture.
Just another reason to invest in a PC library. You buy your games once and that's it.

I was on the fence about investing in a Switch 2, but with the $80 games, people getting banned, the removal of true physical games, and the lack of a good online experience has made me hold off for now.
Maybe that'll change with their OLED refresh down the road.
