Sooooo, is he pointing the finger at himself? He's a public sector employee for Trump now, right? Hinting ay his plans like a moron?

Because all I do at my public sector job is SAVE LIVES and help vets have some dignity as they fight their disease...

If you had a television show, especially where you peddled snake oil or fired people from fake corporations, you shouldn't hold any government position. Simple!

You better be voting NO and shutting it down! We don't want to hear anything else right now. You have vets, fed employees, and minorities as your constituents. THE TIME IS NOW TO MAKE A STAND! Listen to the damn women!

It's called a "free market" for a reason asshole!

Oh, and invite federal workers to tell people what work they do all day, how it will affect the public when nobody's there to do it, and how 99.9% of workers he's villifying and firing are NOT rich beaurocrats. Like VA nurses, docs, IRS customer reps, postmen, etc.
February 12, 2025 at 1:12 AM
It makes no sense that our VA is so short on medical staff, like nurses and doctors, and we're included in the fork emails AND the probationary employees list (to possibly be fired). We are SO short staffed!

Not believing the numbers they are putting out about how many fed employees are taking the resignation they're offering. Once they realized 20,000 was 1% and people were laughing at that, it's now suddenly 60,000. Not buying it. None of their numbers are true.
February 7, 2025 at 5:25 AM
I'm holding the line. I deleted those damn emails the second I opened them. I'm not leaving my fellow nurses to take care of the vets WHEN WE'RE ALREADY SHORT STAFFED! Hold the line!

Another important thing to point out @mcuban.bsky.social is that the people approving payments, and who have access to these systems, pledged to support the Constitution, not to any one person. They are neutral. I think we can all agree Musk is NOT.

It gets worse. Most providers and nurses have a 2 year probationary period. However, if you're over a year into it, you may have extra protections. They still have to show cause (like bad performance) to fire anyone with 1+ years of service. I'm a nurse at 1.5 years, but WORRIED!
February 5, 2025 at 1:44 AM
You should all be refusing to vote at all until they stop screwing with hardworking fed employees (23,000 in NM btw) AND stop allowing Elon access to ANYTHING!
February 5, 2025 at 1:35 AM
I'm a probationary fed employee, nurse at the VA. We do have some protections. They still have to have cause, like poor performance, etc. They can't just fire all probies. Am I still worried, even with an exemplary review on file? Yes. We can barely care for the vets with the staff we have!

So it's not just Secretary Bessent lying about Musk's team having 'read-only' access when they really have admin privileges.

In fact, Musk's team has *already* implemented changes to the Treasury payment system—which is consistent with what Musk himself has claimed.
New Exclusive building on Wired's reporting: Musk operatives have already pushed live to production extensive code changes to the Treasury Department payment system which makes 95% of fed govs payments. talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/musk-...
