As someone who grew up in Qc in the 70s and 80s, this is not surprising. Separation or Referendum talk drives out investment and people. Keep it up long enough and Alberta will be receiving equalization money. Qc used to be a have province until we broke it

Well said and bang on. My grandmother who had to raise 4 kids age 4 to 12 with nothing after losing her husband always saw PET as provider and protector of that check. The only man I saw make her swear was Joe Clark. 9 yr old me was shocked at the fury he unleashed in her. Thanks for that memory.

Voted yesterday in Carlton. It certainly slowed things. People in line were explaining the ballot to those who hadn't heard. Was in line next to older gentleman who said he was 93. We took him to front of line and said he is voting next
