Unrestricted Citizenship by birth on our soil separates the United States from most other countries outside of our hemisphere. Emancipated people pushed for this because African-descended people whose ancestors were forced here for labor were not considered citizens of the country of their birth

LA City Council Supervisor Kathryn Barger just publicly compared the destruction caused by the California wildfires to a “third world country.” Again, incredible the disconnect and superiority that the U.S. continues to portray as it is ravaged year after year by disasters of their own making.
