I agree. Their politics tends to be geared to promoting Reform. It's a pity that their one really insightful news documentary programme, Panorama, has been singled out by someone as a red light to Trump.

The BBC gave Farage too much air time. Now he's showing the Beeb his true colours, they helped create a monster who has turned on them and is supporting his idol's attempt to destroy the Beeb. I hope Trump does not succeed, we need the BBC, they work with the OU, and their drama output is fantastic.

Is the reason:
- QT had a policy of reflecting how people in that area had voted
- So it often wanted a UKIP/BP politician
- There were no UKIP/BP MPs so their representative was an MEP
- There were other politicians - often MPs rather than MEPs - from the other parties balancing their views
