Had an inspiring and rewarding week at LSHTM doing a deep dive into the study of cancer survival. Grateful for the opportunity to learn from experts in the field and connect with others passionate about improving cancer outcomes.

So glad I stayed til the end of #SER2025 Really inspiring session on how to combine advocacy and academic research.
I had such a great time chairing this amazing session with @britshmit.bsky.social, @gregggonsalves.bsky.social, @zinzinator.bsky.social! Such inspirational people ☺️

Our study is in the news: Heavy and painful periods are linked to missing school and lower GCSE results - something that anyone who menstruates could probably already tell you, but that is largely not discussed or ignored.

Today the UK government said that the evidence for altering the current system of Daylight Saving Time clock changes “is not overwhelming” but raises some interesting issues…..
