Forgot to wear my poppies this week.
To remember the WAR TO END ALL WARS in 1919 - over 100 years ago.
I am indeed sad for all the war dead (military + civilian) but it does strike me as quite ironic to make such a strong memorial about something that was not at all successful in ending all wars.

Forgot to wear my poppies this week.
