As a noob on factorio with only 1300 hours in it I got bored and started py. I‘m 100 hours in and started to get trains. But to be honest: it is more tedious than entertaining because most is „just“ bigger and „more“ without refreshing mechanics (so far). Nevertheless I hope you have fun!

After I’ve switched to Linux a year ago I encountered only three games I couldn’t run or have any performance : the alters, battlefield 6 and once human. The other 50+ games run without a problem. I hope more and more devs think about it

Warum hat dieses Game AI generierte Bilder? Wie unnötig.
Ich habe Bock auf anno 117, aber ich kaufe seit langer Zeit keine grossen Spiele mehr zu Release. Zu viele bugs oder solche unnötigen Probleme.
Ich hoffe die kicken die AI Kacke raus und fixen die bugs . Sonst wird das ein Anno 2205 2.0 :/

The minefield and the Gatling turret were my favorites. My friends have a different opinion, I cannot imagine why. The bugs love them!

Das heilige römische Reich endete 1806 und dennoch haben wir immer noch Kleinstaatenlösungen. Warum kann jede Gemeinde eigene Steuern festsetzen und solche Hinterziehungen fördern ? Warum zahlen nicht alle die selbe. Warum sind Steuern künstlich kompliziert ? Wegen Gerechtigkeit glaube ich nicht.

What a banger of a video. It is such a niche and yet day to day topic - I love it. I wish I could order the your powder from a European or German store to avoid the logistics. But there are other similar brands here.

Völlig bekloppte Idee den „Fachkräftemangel“ zu beheben. Geht ein Betrieb pleite , muss also der freie Facharbeiter eine Random , unterbezahlte Arbeit machen - egal was es ist oder wie kacke diese ist. Die Fachkraft wird falsch eingesetzt. Perfekte Analogie zur Union, die nur Pfeifen an Board hat.

I had some private domains at gandi for a few years. Over times the times got more expensive and they also tried to upsell me with similar tactics. I switched to porkbun because of this. Is there a European based service with similar services and prices?

I‘ve never read their code and how they actually download a YT video, but after reading that it relies an regex to find and parse functions … a switch made sense.

I must have missed the first video and just watched. You have such a unique take to do documentaries - calm, informative, interesting and always some humor. Great work!

That is my main problem with the models and the application. They sound so certain of their answer, so confident. You can try to correct their errors - but it doesn’t matter. They are trained to convince you that they are good. Otherwise no one would use them or even pay for it.

Only played it a few minutes until I realized this game is not for me. Because of this I‘m very excited to see your playthrough! Good luck and I hope you have fun!

Ich hasse dieses Feature. Es suggeriert, dass das Video auf Deutsch / der automatisch übersetzten Sprache ist und dann bin ich verwundert wenn es startet. Ich nutz YouTube auf Englisch und wundere mich wenn das gleiche mit deutschen Videos und englischen Titeln passiert.

I really enjoy this type of changelog. It’s a great overview of the progress and changes and written in a way that reflects you having fun working on bevy. Also it shows you are proud of the work of everyone. This positiveness is awesome in the engineering more neutral space of software dev

That is something I cannot really understand at the current state of engines and programming. Especially with such a small graphic layer as in EU 5. there is no cutting edge path tracing in real time that can justify the use of special direct X. It is just lazy development. Hope it works with proton

This would be so helpful. I think that bevy ( and the rust ecosystem) has a good documentation but is lacking info „I have this idea, what components do I need to utilize / where can I look / what are the use cases of a component in the concept of a game.
