1st day back at UWE, ACP MSc, starting year 2 due to modules I have already collected along the way. Day 1 PADRICP Module, I have dusted off some brain cells today and pleasantly surprised by how much I remember on ABG’s from my ICU days!

We had a very special visitor at Prospect Hospice today, our President, HRH Queen Camilla, who spent time with patients and families. Whilst I was introduced to HRH, it was very fast but still a very big honour to be standing there with my Queen’s Nurse Badge on, and exchange a smile with the Queen.

So very proud to become a Queen’s Nurse. What a room of formidable nurses, who I look forward to learning from and working alongside whilst continuing to champion my passions, Community Nursing, Hospice Care, palliative and end of life care. Still glowing Dame Elizabeth 😊
