Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac guidelines (which lenders use to finance a majority of home loans) allow rental income on 2nd homes if the loan meets the other requirements. Don't know all the details of her loan, but it's possible she meets those requirements & it's a perfectly legit 2nd home transaction

This hurts my heart. Crater Lake is the 2nd National Park I ever visited and one of my favorites. The rangers there were spectacular on our last visit and 8 is not enough to manage all this land. Cutting it to 3 is a potential death sentence for the park. #momsky
