And not that he doesn’t deserve support, but the Board can’t know yet what’s true - did he have weapons violations? If so, that’s a big deal for a school district. At least they voted for paid leave, and didn’t shut down support in the future

I have no info about any this other than what ICE says, but it’s clear the Board was stunned by all this; indeed they have to cover their butts. For the good of the school district, they have to show that he was hired with due diligence and they had no negative or disqualifying hiring information.
