Anyway, once I finish FFXVI I'm going to do a second playthrough of FFVII Rebirth. I still have to play the Yuffie DLC from Remake, but I have no memory left on my PS5 and it's too much of a hassle to delete and reinstall everything, just for a couple of hours of DLC lol

I finished the Rising Tide DLC for FFXVI yesterday. Man, that Leviathan end boss battle was epic! I really love that they amped up the difficulty (I'm in final fantasy mode). Although I did get my ass kicked in stage 3 a couple of times lol

I'm 99% sure I don't want to pursue a PhD, but sometimes the thought of obtaining academic validation seems like a very valid reason to do it anyway 😀 so annoying, I already know it's extrinsic motivation stemming from ~childhood trauma~ and that's pretty much the worst reason for starting a PhD

I'm tiredddddd. But I'm excited to start Rising Tide, as that's the one that's way longer (and we get the Leviathan Eikon!). I just love that I get to spend time with my boy Clive and the crew again 😭

I just finished the Fall of the Echoes DLC for FFXVI. Played in Final Fantasy mode, and the Omega boss fight was epic! I also really enjoyed how well connected the plot is to the main story, as well as where it was placed (some the later half of the game is the most flawed imo)

The inner voice thing in FFXVI at Vivian's is adorable. I wish I had discovered it sooner, as I'm already in Ash and have slain Barnabas. At this point, it's just too much to go through the timeline and see everyone's inner voices

I just finished watching Beef and am blown away by the last two episodes. The entire show was so fucking ridiculous, but I loved the ending. Their entire lives are in ruins, and yet it still feels like they might still be happier than they were at the start of the show, which is so crazy to me

Games have always been the backdrop to my life somehow. So is this game, and this game is even more special to me because my lovely, lovely partner bought a fucking PS5 AND FFXVI when I was feeling really shitty about life. It was just the best and most ridiculous pick-me-up

I love every Final Fantasy game I've played (arguably not that many), but XVI is special to me because it's the only one in the series I've followed since it was announced to basically every update
