I made this plasticine quilt to represent my next PhD goal: starting data analysis. I’ve been overwhelmed by the task, but thinking of it like quilt making - cutting, rearranging, & making something meaningful - feels familiar, even joyful. Time to turn my fabric/data into something beautiful!

A potentially monotonous work week ahead - essay marking and interview transcription. I’ll use ideas from @danidonovan.com’s #AntiPlanner to keep it interesting and keep my motivation high

I’ve joined Natalie Lancer’s Guts & Goals program - 90 days to smash my #PhDGoals We used plasticine to create models of our gold. I made a carrot to represent my reward: when I finish my transcription, I’ll buy myself a dehydrator!

I live in Cheshire East. This is my bin lid. The brown areas are where we patched it with fibreglass after it was chewed by rats. The council want to collect bins once every 3 weeks www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
