Let me take you down the garden design rabbit hole, since these deep seams are what Bluesky is good for. I designed in a hidden sitting spot for my client and chose the floofy-headed grasses to catch the low autumn light. Design is problem solving with beauty. He’s embraced by plants in the sun.

When ice freezes slowly and steadily it can form these dendrites, these branches. This ice says you knew I was coming and ought to have brought the banana plants into the conservatory. Reader, I did.

You are not asleep and neither is the garden. Maybe you wish it was asleep, because it’s cold out there. But there is so much going on. It’s still worth grounding barefoot in these temperatures. I find I feel even more alive. The decline of blooms is more exciting than the budding IMO.
