Thanks for this--it's so important. I read somewhere that Republicans contact their reps more regularly, whereas Dems tend to trust they'll do the right thing. ALL our reps need to hear from us. Telling our stories like this is an act of resistance.

Interesting perspective. One thing I'll say for Trump is he doesn't hide who he is, & voters had ample opportunity to decide that's what leadership looks like. Also, over those 10 years, he's suffered no real damage for wrongdoing. To some, this is what a winner looks like, & they want to win.

Is some of that a "bro" factor? Younger white male Republicans were more likely to turn out? I wish someone knew why younger voters don't. You'd think they be tired of blaming boomers & want to have an effect themselves.
