Forensic custody evaluations are a failed experiment. They experimented on you. It failed.

There is no quasi-judicial role for doctors. Throughout healthcare, diagnosis guides treatment.

Forensic custody evaluations need to end. Clinical diagnostic assessments need to return to the family courts.

Clinical Diagnostic Assessment..

In all cases - all - of child custody conflict and severe attachment pathology (a child rejecting a parent), a proper risk assessment needs to be conducted to the appropriate diffferential diagnoses for each parent.

All.

The cause of severe attachment pathology (a child rejecting a parent) is child abuse by one parent or the other.

Either the targeted parent is abusing the child or the allied parent is psychologically abusing the child (shared persecutory delusion; FDIA),

There is child abuse. Which parent?

Attachment System

The attachment system is a motivational system. All motivational systems have direction, they motivate toward a direction.

The attachment system ALWAYS motivates the child to bond to the parent - because the other direction leads to death by starvation and predation.

Forensic custody evaluations "lack scientific or legal value", they are "harmful to children", and they are "dangerous."

Where are the licensing boards protecting the public? Nowhere to be seen. Why is that?

Legislators need to find out why their licensing boards are failing to protect the public.

Treatment Failure:

There are only two causes of treatment failure, 1) misdiagnosis, or 2) incompetent treatment.

Because if the diagnosis is accurate and the treatment is competently delivered, the problem will be resolved.

If a patient needs to educate the doctor about the pathology, that doctor is not competent by demonstrated need to be educated about the pathology:

A violation of Standard 2.01 Boundaries of Competence of the APA ethics code.

In the family courts, the patients are educating the doctors.

The pathology in the family courts is the child's triangulation into the spousal conflict through a cross-generational coalition with the allied parent against the targeted parent, resulting in an emotional cutoff in the child's attachment bond to the targeted parent.

We inhabit two types of mind.

One mind is formed in secure attachment. These minds expect love. They trust and they reach out in cooperation.

One mind is formed in insecure (damaged) attachment. These minds anticipate danger, and they protect themselves from the threat they perceive from others.

There is a conflict of interest in the forensic psychology.

They experimented on children and parents in family courts with a new quasi-judicial role for doctors. It failed.

We must change. But to change, we must acknowledge their failure, that means we end what they do. They don't want that.

Parenting is a human right. If there is no child abuse, parents have the right to parent.

The role of doctors is to diagnose and treat pathology. There is no quasi-judicial role for doctors.

The clinical concern is whether there is child abuse by one parent or the other.

There is no defined pathology in clinical psychology called "parental alienation" - "resist-refuse dynamic - "Parent-Child Contact Problems"

Those are euphemisms of made-up pathology labels for child abuse that hide the child abuse from view and prevent intervention for the... child abuse.
