Appointed in 2002, Weintraub has been a vocal advocate for stronger campaign finance enforcement, transparency, and combating foreign election influence.

Where it's possible, lawsuits are being filed. That is something that can be done and is being done. As are delays in the Senate and going over how awful the Trump nominees are. And at the State level, outside lawsuits, Democrats are also resisting where possible.
