Quote tweet of my post. Original post is a gif of Picard and Beverly standing close to each other with the caption 'there is no platonic explanation for how close he is to her.' The quote is strangely passive aggressive. 'I don't know how to explain to you that that's so they're both in the frame. You know how professional photographers are always telling you to get closer to the other person or people in the photo?' And thus, aspect ratio gate was born.
