During my mission in Kabo, I met a loyal companion named Mohini, whose vigilance helped me avoid a direct encounter with a wild elephant. This powerful moment reminded me of the realities of the terrain and the importance of staying alert in the forest.

I had the opportunity to visit a mongulu, a traditional hut of the Mbenzélé indigenous people of Pokola. True symbols of resilience and ancestral know-how, mongulus are a reminder of the cultural and ecological richness of these peoples.
