Contact wildlife rescue groups. Also, the wild birds I’ve aided relaxed when cupped in my hands. The warmth helps them. Sitting in one hand, cupped by the other, allowing bird’s face to peek out. Give it a try, if you can. Just sit calmly for awhile.

I remember not flying on a plane before I was 27 (1988). I also know that I don’t remember what other people were wearing on that plane but I do remember always feeling like the special people were sitting in special seats. Curtains closing - really a message in that.

I hope she also offers a freedom of information kind of statement that discusses the benefits she walks away with upon her resignation. That would be something to build trust on.
