I think a lot about home, and I’m grateful for every message from family and friends. Out here, you learn quickly what really matters: staying human, sticking together, protecting what you love, and never taking peace for granted.

What strikes me most isn’t the war itself — it’s the people. The shop owner who brings us coffee even when he barely has enough. The kids who still laugh while kicking around a beat-up soccer ball. The families who refuse to give up hope.
